D la bienvenida al primer Crudo de Febrero. Comenzamos viendo lejos Eric Bischoff en la espalda de una limusina...er, I mean, uh, welcome to the first Raw (recap) of February. Raw has some trouble getting the correct language to air on the broadcast as we see Bischoff in a limo on his cellphone talking with Chief Morely. After watching the show we know that this part was where Bischoff told Morely he was in San Antonio, TX looking for Steve Austin. He told Morely that he had the reigns on tonight's show.

We were also welcomed to Raw in Spanish but eventually everything got back to normal and Test and Stacy Keibler kicked off the show. Stacy said what happened a couple weeks ago was an accident and maybe she should be more careful around the ring. She simply asked for an apology from Jericho. Test on the other hand, demanded one and said if they didn't get one he was going to beat one out of him. Chris Jericho made his entrance and told Test he was busy with a #1 contender's match tonight against Scott Steiner. Jericho said he felt really bad about what happened, but he's been able to move on. Test told Jericho he had five seconds to apologize but Christian entered the ring and shoved Test who collided with Stacy. Christian landed the Unprettier on Test and clocked him with right hands and stalked Stacy for a second before Test got to his feet and levelled Christian with a clothesline and dumped him from the ring.

Backstage, Kane entered Chief Morely's office to find Rob Van Dam inside. Kane said that Morely asked to see him and RVD said likewise. Van Dam then asked why Kane bailed on him during last week's match and Kane said that his mask was torn off and he just didn't understand. RVD joked that Kane got his power from his mask or something and asked if he thought he was Spider-Man. Morely entered and told the two he was in charge and that he wanted great television for this evening, so he booked Kane vs. RVD.

In the parking lot, Test and Stacy got into a car and decided to leave.

Ross and Lawler then explained the technical problems and said that what happened with the opening segment was that Bischoff told Morely he was in San Antonio, TX hoping to sign Steve Austin to a contract for No Way Out.

3 Minute Warning defeated The Dudley Boyz in 1:13. After both teams were introduced, Chief Morely came out and announced a special guest referee, Rico. The Dudleyz got the best of Rosey and Jamal but Rico was obviously slow on the count when Bubba had Jamal down for a pin. D-Von stepped and they looked to set up a 3D but Jamal rolled up Bubba and Rico made an extremely fast count. Afterwards, Bubba Ray and D-Von attacked Rico and 3 Minute Warning as Spike Dudley hit the ring and took out Jamal with the Dudley Dog. A table was set up and Rico took a ride through it via a Bubba powerbomb from the second rope.

Somewhere in Greater San Antonio we caught up with Bischoff and his limo driver who was looking at a map. Bischoff was on his cellphone again with Morely. Bischoff assumed that the driver was lost, but the driver said he could find Austin's place if Bischoff had given him the right address.

A counter popped up in the left hand corner of the screen throughout the show, showing how much time Eric Bischoff had left to impress Vince McMahon.

Tommy Dreamer was introduced for a match but it didn't happen because Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton, and Batista hit the ring and destroyed Dreamer. Triple H (who was walking with a crutch due to a hematoma on his thigh) grabbed a mic and began describing each man in his entourage. He started with Ric Flair, a 16 time world champion and the best in the business. H said that all the attributes that Flair had back in his day have evoloved into what Triple H is today. H kept mentioned evolution as he talked about Dave Batista, a six-foot-five 325 pound "genetic stopper" (whatever the hell that means). He moved on to Orton and said he was a third-generation superstar with all the gifts a man could be given. H then went on to say, "Everything happens for a reason. It's just the natural process of evolution. You see, if you don't have what it takes, that evolution will leave you behind. So if you wake up one day in a hospital bed and you're all beat up and you're wondering what the hell happened, there's only one answer, evolution has just passed you by."

Backstage, Terri had a word with Scott Steiner who said he'd take care of business the way he always takes care of business, with these, and he flexed his bicepts.

After the break, we see the four guys who'll most likely be known as Evolution head into a pressbox.

Back to Bischoff's Austin hunt, Bischoff arrived at Austin's home but was greeted at the door by a rather rotund old dude named Beuford. Bischoff introduced himself and told the guy he was there to meet Austin. Beuford told him that Austin had left to go to the Longhorn Saloon.

Victoria (with Steven Richards) defeated Molly Holly in 2:53. Not much of a match, I'd really like it if they pushed Molly a little more since she is one of the better women wrestlers, but anyway. Victoria picked up an easy win in this non-title match. Afterwards, she went to attack Molly some more but Jazz entered and shoved Victoria out of the way and then beat down Molly. Victoria and Jazz had a staredown but Richards stepped in and got Victoria to exit the ring with him.

Backstage, Goldust didn't seem all too excited about his and Booker T's upcoming title match. The same couldn't be said for Booker who appeared and was ready to go. Goldust felt that Booker had much more potential in a singles career and said that if they win the straps, they'll stick around as a team, but if not, they go their seperate ways. Book asked if that's the way it was and Goldust insisted that it was, so Book agreed.

William Regal & Lance Storm defeated Booker T & Goldust in 5:35. Goldust was on a roll towards the end of the match but he missed a clothesline and Storm shoved him into Booker who was knocked out of the ring. Storm made the pin after a heel kick. After the match, Booker called Goldust back in the ring and said they had a good run and he enjoyed every minute they spent together. Book and Goldust then embraced and left the ring, guess that's the end of Booker T and Goldust.

In San Antonio, Bischoff entered the Longhorn Saloon looking for Austin. The locals informed him that Austin was in there earlier looking for Bischoff but had since headed to another bar.

Rob Van Dam defeated Kane via DQ in 4:12. Kane and RVD put on a good match with some nice back and forth action. Van Dam played possum at one point and faked an arm injury so he could get Kane close enough to deliver a kick to the head. RVD then went up top but Jeff Hardy ran down and shoved RVD to the floor, causing the DQ. Hardy stepped in the ring and cracked Kane in the face and got a chokeslam for his troubles. Van Dam then came in and delivered a nice Fivestar Frog Splash as Kane set off the pyro's.

After the break, Hardy was still laid out in the ring when Shawn Michaels' music hit and he entered the ring. Michaels said he came down to lend a little advice to Jeff Hardy. HBK said that Hardy was in a crossroads in his career and he needed to make a decision. HBK mentioned he had been there 15 years ago and he made the decision to kick his tag team partner in the face and toss him through a plate glass window. Michaels said he had to live with the repercussions but 15 years later, he feels he made the right decision. Michaels tells Hardy he has to find out who he is. Jeff grabbed the mic and said there wasn't enough time to explain who Jeff Hardy was but he said he was gonna start kicking some ass, starting with Michaels. Hardy takes half a step and gets absolutely floored with a superkick from Michaels. HBK shrugs and leaves.

D'Lo Brown (with Teddy Long) defeated Maven in 3:54. Not too much is mentionable in this match. Maven looks like he learned a lot from Tough Enough, takedown headlock and then a nip-up when D'Lo counters it, wee. After a missed missile dropkick off the top, D'Lo takes it with his Fade to Black finisher. After the match, Long stepped in the ring and tried to get the crowd chanting, "Down with the brown."

Up in the pressbox, Triple H got the group together to make sure they knew what was going down during the Steiner-Jericho match.

Back in San Antonio, Bischoff entered the Silver Dollar bar to find out that once again, Austin wasn't around. Bischoff was in the midst of leaving when a guy playing pool told him that he wasn't gonna sign Austin and McMahon was gonna fire him. Bischoff shrugged it off but then came back and smashed a beer mug over the kid's head and said Austin would've gotten the same treatmen had he been there. Bischoff left saying screw Austin and screw Texas.

Backstage, Orton and Batista came across a sulking Goldust and asked if he'd seen Scott Steiner anywhere but Goldust didn't answer. The two attacked Goldust and they fought near the electrical equipment. Batista threw Goldust into a wall which had some electrical boxes on it. Some sparks flew out and Goldust did his best to look like he was being electrocuted. Refs and agents called for EMT's as we went to break.

We came back to see Goldust being carted away on a stretcher.

Scott Steiner defeated Chris Jericho in 7:03. Jericho looked pretty good and Steiner looked like he was working a tad stiff in this #1 contender's match. Steiner blew up very quickly again and made an easy powerslam look like crap. Jericho attempted the Walls of Jericho twice and on the second time locked it in but Steiner got to the ropes. Jericho then went up top but got crotched when Steiner pulled the top rope. Steiner then hit a nice fallaway slam which really wasn't a fallaway slam at all. He had Jericho racked on his back and simply fell backwards but it still looked good and it was enough to get the win. Afterwards, Steiner pointed out Triple H in the pressbox.

Backstage, Morely was trying to talk with Bischoff again when Vince McMahon entered and mentioned that Morely and Bischoff were running out of time. McMahon again stated that if he wasn't impressed with Bischoff's actions in six days, he'd be walking down to the ring in Los Angeles to announce that Bischoff and Morely were fired...
