Hogan is currently slated for the 11/30 PPV, where he'll be taking on Jeff Jarrett, in what's sure to be their biggest main-event of all time.
From all indications, Hogan did not sign a long-term deal, in fact, it's not even known if it was just a one-show deal, or he will work a few more shows (in a deal similar to what Sting has). We should have more details soon.
- The word going around is that in the coming weeks, Kevin Nash will get his requested heel turn to work a program with Goldberg.
Nash's contract runs out in February, and with it being known that he's set to take a huge paycut if he signs a new deal, he's requested one more shot to draw big. WWE was also up for the idea since they want to keep Goldberg away from Kane for now, and HHH doesn't return until late November, at the earliest.
No word if this is set to lead to the Survivor Series main-event, or if it will climax later this month as part of the "PPV-quality RAW" since SmackDown! has the brand-exclusive PPV this month.
- Kevin Nash is seriously considering neck surgery. With long-term WWE plans indicating Nash will be the main 'bounty hunter' in the Triple H-Goldberg storyline, it looks as if Nash would hold off any surgery until at least 2004. His contract expires in February of 2004.
- They are running an angle at some RAW house shows where Howard Finkel sings the national anthem to open the show. There had been some talk of bringing this on as an angle on a future edition of RAW, but that's not confirmed.
- This weekend at the Box Office, School of Rock and Out of Time both opened well ahead of Rundown. It looks like The Rock's Rundown will finish third this week. It had grossed about $25.84 million as of early last night which is not bad at all, but not anything spectacular.
