It should be noted that WWE has caught wind of HBO doing this piece and a response to it is reportedly ready to go. It isn't exactly known at this time what the response will include but we hope to obtain more very soon.
- It appears WWE is going back and forth as to whether they should bring Kurt Angle back as a babyface or a heel. Current reports see Angle returning as a babyface, especially considering the promo that aired this past Thursday night on SmackDown.
- SmackDown did a 3.4 broadcast rating, with a 6 share this week. The rating is up from that of recent weeks and could be a sign that WWE is taking advantage of much of the broadcast TV shows being in reruns.
- WWE has signed a new talent to their developmental roster. Horshu, a former WCW talent, had a dark match last week at the Smackdown taping. Horshu had been working West Coast indies since WCW was bought by WWE, and he also toured with Zero-One in Japan.

- Steve Austin and Goldberg will not be going on the RAW tour of UK next week. Goldberg was never scheduled for the event, confirming rumors that he got his way with his contract negotiations early on. Steve Austin was originally scheduled for the tour, but for whatever reason was recently pulled.
- Chris Jericho will be featured in the upcoming July edition of Penthouse magazine. Jericho does an interview with the adult nude magazine and talks mainly about life outside of wrestling.
