| Big Show In Trouble With WWE Management + The Rock Upset w/Goldberg + More WWE News | ||||||
| - There is word going around that WWE management is angry with the Big Show for his "baseball bat" swing with Rey Mysterio at Backlash. Vince McMahon and others felt Show should have protected Mysterio better when he swung him into the ring post while strapped down and dropped him to the floor. Mysterio is ok, but did experience numbness for a short period after the match. There is said to be much heat on Big Show and some are questioning whether it will effect his planned push for a PPV match with Brock Lesnar. A few weeks ago on RAW, when security guards, played by indy wrestlers, protected Rock from Goldberg, Rock told some of them to watch out for Goldberg because Goldberg doesnt know what he is doing. This is consistent with the fact that Rock is upset with Goldberg about his in-ring skills and refusal to work on them. - Stephanie McMahon has told all writers on SmackDown to do exactly what her dad, Vince, says and never argue or disagree with his ideas. Many writers have been fearful of questioning Vince McMahon after he demoted Paul Heyman from head writer to a consultant. - Kurt Angle has said that he is ready to get back in the ring now, but cant because of doctors orders. He is said to be feeling great and hopes to make a return soon and wrestle until WrestleMania XX. After that, he wishes to be a WWE road agent. - Vince McMahon is feeling very insecure about his job lately and feels pressure from those within the WWE that feel he should give his position to Stephanie and Shane. - Jim Ross was very upset about an incident that happened at the March 18th SmackDown. JR was asked to produce the commentary for the entire SmackDown show, but Vince McMahon decided to take over producing the show's audio after the first match. This disturbed Jim Ross and as a result he no longer attends SmackDown tapings. He felt that Vince should have told him earlier. John Lauranitis has now taken over the producing roll.
