Final Smackdown Rating Decreases + WWE To Change In Ring Performance Styles
-  Smackdown did a lower then usual 3.0 broadcast rating, with a 4.6 share, which is down from last week's 3.3. The show was being pushed as "WrestleMania comes early", and this rating is a major disappointment.

-  Due to the recently large amount of injuries to wrestlers in WWE, Vince McMahon is seriously encouraging that the company's ring style be toned down, and fewer "big spots" are done. WWE is realizing there is a problem making this change because the fans have come to expect higher impact matches in recent years. For now the WWE is planning on slowly implementing changes in the ring style that will de-emphasize the big bumps that have aided the wrestler's high injury rate. WWE is aware that the injury situation is their number one problem at the time being and thet feel it needs to be addressed right away. Given the high impact style that some of the wrestlers work, there is concern from all sides whether they can effectively make an adjustment to a less high impact style and not lose interest in the match in the fan's eyes. It will be interesting to see how this story plays out. Wrestleview will keep and eye on it and hope to know more about the situation soon.
