| More News On Kurt Angle's Injury + King Of The Ring PPV To Be Done Away With? | |||||||||
| - As you may have already read, Kurt Angle was wrestling in South Africa this past weekend and sustained what could be a rather significant injury. Not much is currently known, but some are saying that hey may have to undergo the same surgery in which Edge will experience. If this happens, Angle could miss as much as a year of in-ring work. While wrestling he experienced numbness in his arms as well as other neck problems. Despite the advice from other wrestlers, Kurt wrestled on, which could turn out to be a bad decision. As reported earlier by 1Wrestling, he is still scheduled to wrestle at WrestleMania 19. This is only because his injury hasn't been diagnosed as of yet. Many are saying that his match at WrestleMania with Brock Lesnar is in serious Jeopardy. If you haven't, starting with the June PPV, the WWE's pay-per-views will feature either the Raw talent or the Smackdown talent, but not both. Only the 4 main PPV's will feature both Raw and Smackdown talent. Those being, Wrestlemania, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and Summerslam. Summerslam will be the first to feature both. As we all know, WWE.com can be lazy when it comes to updating schedules and line-ups, but the DishNetwork website lists the WWE's June PPV as "To Be Determined" instead of King of the Ring, which leads many to think that the name could be either changing or the PPV could be cancelled altogether, at least for this year.
