- In what has to be considered a fairly significant news item, Tommy Dreamer has joined the writing team for RAW and will be part of the creative team for the Monday night show. The word is that Dreamer's stint as a RAW writer began last week, and he did well enough to get the job full time. Dreamer will remain an in-ring performer in addition to being a writer, which is obviously viewed by some as a potential political problem. However, in ECW as well as WWE, Tommy has had no problem being the one who would put other talent over so this probably won't be a problem. With Tommy now on the writing team he will bring a wrestler's perspective into the fray. Since Brian Gewirtz, RAW's head writer, specialty is comedy, it makes sense to add more wrestling savvy to Raw's creative team.
