Nathan apparently just got up and left before the show in Perth yesterday. He told some of the guys in the back that he was done with the company and couldn't take it anymore. That's when Brock Lesnar, The Big Show, Paul Heyman, and many others got word that Jones was still in the building and had planned to walk-out. They found him and tried to talk him out of it but he had already set his mind on walking out.
Jones was scheduled to wrestle at the show but obviously didn't. Jones had been working hard to get back into in-ring shape and had just signed a new WWE deal for what was believed to be three years.
We'll keep you updated and we expect a statement from WWE shortly. I'm sure there are still some people within the company, such as Jim Ross, who are trying to contact Nathan to try and work something out. It's kind of ironic that WWE.com had just published an article on their website about Jones going to Australia for what they called a 'homecoming'. Jones had said in the article that he was looking forward to returning 'home'. Anyone want to take a guess on how long before that article is removed from the website?
