21) Rob Van Dam defeated Hardcore Champion Tommy Dreamer on 8/26/02 to unify the Intercontinental and Hardcore Championships; Hardcore Championship discontinued.

22) World Heavyweight Champion Triple H defeated Kane to unify the World Heavyweight and Intercontinental championships; Intercontinental Championship discontinued.

23) IC Title Battle Royal Tournament held at Judgement Day PPV involving past IC Champs on current RAW Roster.  Participants include Christian, Lance Storm, Booker T, Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam, Kane, Test, Goldust, and Val Venis.  Match ended when Christian threw Booker T over the top rope for the win.

24) Immediately after Chris Jericho defeated Rob Van Dam on the 10/27/03 edition on RAW, Co-GM Stone Cold Steve Austin ordered that Jericho defend his new Intercontinental title against Van Dam in a cage match.  Rob Van Dam escaped from the cage to win back the Intercontinental title.

25) Chris Jericho defeated Christian in a Ladder Match for the vacant Intercontinental Championship.  The vacancy was due to Edge being injured, and him being unable to defend the title within the 30 day limit, thus he was stripped of the belt.
