| Update On Edge's Neck Injury | |||||||||
| - The test results for Edge's injured neck were scheduled to be released today and we now have information concerning them. The test results have shown that Edge will require neck surgery and the surgery will be done by Dr. Lloyd Youngblood. As of now, the seriousness of the injury is not considered to be that extreme as previously thought but it will still require lots of time to heal. As you may know, Edge is currently on the card for No Way Out this Sunday in Montreal which sees him teaming up with Chris Benoit and Brock Lensar to take on Team Angle (Kurt Angle, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas). If Edge is unable to take part in the match this Sunday on Pay Per View, it is currently being rumored that Rhyno could take his place instead. As you may remember, Rhyno was slated to join Triple H's Evolution group on RAW a few weeks ago but those plans were scrapped as the WWE writing team thought the Evolution group was fine as it was. It now seems that Rhyno returning at No Way Out would make more sense simply due due to the fact that Paul Heyman is the writer for SmackDown and he has been pushing hard to get Rhyno to join SmackDown upon his return. In addition to this rumor, many sources are claiming that Edge himself has been telling people that he likes the idea of Rhyno taking his place at No Way Out and was even hoping that Heyman would get it pushed if it came down to that.
