This morning around 9:30am, Mickey Jay checked in with Hennig to arrange a 1pm lunch meeting. When Hennig didn't make the scheduled lunch meeting, they checked on him at his hotel room and found him dead. Police and local media are at the hotel currently and a number of people are being interviewed.
Hennig was scheduled to wrestle Ian Harrison & Jimmy Hart in a two on one match tonight. Hennig is survived by his father Larry "The Axe" Hennig, who is still alive today living in Minnesota.
