Angle's neck is said to be in terrible shape and will require surgery and a long period of rehabilitation. Angle's condition is not considered career-threatening at this point in time but it is serious enough to not allow him to wrestle one more match until his neck is fixed. Angle is said to be extremely upset, sad and disappointed all at the same time concerning this situation. Angle will be forfeiting the WWE Championship on TV within the next few weeks.
There is no word on who Brock Lesnar will be facing at WrestleMania 19 this year as the news of Kurt Angle's injury literally broke this afternoon.
