The February 5 meeting of the Muskingum College Republicans was called to order by Chairman Troy Walton at 8:00. Elections will be held March 5, 2001 and written statements of candidacy are due to Troy tomorrow. The group recapped the Oliver North event and discussed plans for improvement:

-more detailed and cohesive list and ticket policies.

-possibility of having a larger setting

-speaker possibilities: Rush Limbaugh, Pat Buchanan, John McCain, Elizabeth Dole, Bill O’Reilly, Norman Schwartzkopf, Tim Russert, Colin Powell, John Kasich.

Renee reviewed plans for CPAC and State Convention. Vice-Chair Jim Hockaday will run the next three meetings. Troy is meeting with Mr. Kessler tomrrow at 5:30 to wrap up the event. The Young Republican and County Republican Club meetings are this Wednesday.

The next meeting will be held on February 12, 2001 in Cambridge Hall room 139 at 8:00 p.m..
