Eos
Eos originally comes from Wales, and earned her degree from the Royal College of Music.  She has aslo played infront of several heads of state such as the Queen and former Prime Ministers of Australia and Ireland.

Her heroes are Velvet Underground, and since she graduated she has played with pop acts including The Divine Comedy, Cocteau Twins, and Julian Cope, and has appeared in videos with Gabrielle and Mark Knopfler.Ahe shares her birthday with Mozart (January 27th) and her name means "nightingale" in Welsh.  As well as being accomplished at the violin, Eos also plays trombone, or at least, used to!!

She has said she loves music which pushes boundaries - and
bond's music crosses both stylistic and national boundaries.

In the brochure from bond's Royal Albert Hall performance, and the rest of their UK tour, Eos had this to say:

I find myself in a strange situation - writing these notes on a plane heading from the MTV Awards in New York - to France via London.  We are all a bit jet-lagged but exhilarated after opening the awards.  We played alongside the American comedian Jamie Foxx and a spoof Brunhilder played by a woman wearing PVC & fishnets.  But anyway, I'm supposed to tell you about life in bond.  So here it is.  It all started about three and a half years ago in London.  The two Aussies had come over to study - as had Gay-Yee and myself (English + Welsh respectively).  We signed our deal with Decca/Universal about two years ago and began brain storming about ideas for the album.  We already had four tracks which earned us the deal - but wanted to move in a different direction.  So we found our producer, Magnus Fiennes at the recommendation of a friend.  We worked togather on ideas for tracks and were more than happy with the results.  Our single Victory was produced by Mike Batt.
Bu the real madness began when we released our album and started promoting around the world.  The launch concert was at the Royal Albert Hall in London.  Our day started at 4am in Holland.  We then flew to the RAH + tried to get some sleep on inflatable matresses with people constructing the stage set about us.  Needless to say we got fewer than forty winks, and that night we performed our first concert.  I think it was the adrenaline that pulled us through!  That set the precedent for bizarre experiences - many more have followed - including having 24hr a day bodyguards in Bulgaria who insisted on accompanying us to the toilet; being styled by Patricia Fields in New York + playing outside the Stock Exchange looking like Yetis + leaving a trail of feathers in our wake; playing Bernard Hermann's Psyche Suite backstage at a fashion show in Bogata at 1am; watching Tom Cruise being dunked in a plunge pool by worryingly eager children at a charity concert in LA; playing at Miss Haly and sharing the makeup room with would be Miss Worlds getting their bums buffed - and playing at Berlin's Brandenburg Gate on New Year's Eve at the stroke of midnight.  It was -7 degrees and they had to sweep the ice off the stage before we walked on.  The list goes on.  There was also the occasion when during the filming for our first video we were standing in the Cuban sea on a pontoon and during one of the takes, Haylie started screaming.  I carried on playing thinking it might be some sort of Australian show of enthusiasm - and during the next take - Tania did exactly the same thing.  Apparently they were being bitten by something that would latch on and wouldn't let go.  When we eventually returned to shore, we told the director - and he casually told us, "oh yeah, that would be the baby barracuda.  We didn't tell you because we thought you wouldn't go in."  "Hmmphh" we thought, and made a note to break eggs over his head.
Aside from all these strange goings on - we do actually work and we work hard.  Now we have this concert tour which is being extended around the world and it feels good!  All our work has started to pay off and we can do what we love most - performing - and getting feedback from delightful audiences such as your good selves.  It's just not the same in a TV studio.
As my dad always says - "It's the roar of the grease-paint and the smell of the crowd."  Thanks to you all for supporting us by being here - and thanks also to my long suffering family + husband.  This has become as much of their lives as it has mine.
Anyway - enjoy the show and cheer lots!
