| A retreat at the beginning of the year at Camp Allendale began the first efforts towards the 1999 competition year. After once again receiving rave reviews for the "Tis The Season" concert, the group began its competition season. First off was the Sullivan Invitational, in Sullivan, Illinois. Music Washouse then headed just up Highway 37 to Mooreville, and then on to Princeton, Indiana. At each competition, the group placed in the Top Six, and Grand Championship honors were given to Music Warehouse at Princeton. Music Warehouse and Sophisticated Ladies left Indiana in March, travelling to New York City, where they both placed first in their competitions.
