| This year's group decided to stay closer to home, and enjoy more performances. Music Warehouse performed for several civic & private function, including the Bloomington Board of Realtors, and a Christmas party at the IU Memorial Union for an alumni sorority. Because of conflicting schedules, Music Warehouse decided not to compete, and travelled to Branson, Missouri to perform at the Branson Jubilee Music Festival. Although not a competition, the group did receive a superior ranking, and accolades from the judges. In the spring, Music Warehouse performed at the Alpha Omega Pi alumni gathering at IU, and also opened the Science Olympiad at the university. They also performed at the French Lick Springs Hotel, and performed at the West Washington High School Alumni Dinner, in Campbellsburg, Indiana. This was a special performance, because it is also Verda's alma mater. At this performance, Verda was honored with an excellence in education award.
