| The 1993 group experienced some great highs, but a tragic loss. This group began the tradition of grand Christmas concerts, which led to 1994's "Tis The Season" annual Christmas program. Music Warehouse was also invited to accompany The Gatlin Brothers in their "Adios" farewell tour. It was a great opportunity to perform with such an acclaimed group. On January 31, 1993 senior Lori Sermersheim was killed in a one-car accident. She was in her second year of Music Warehouse, and was also a varsity cheerleader. The group worked hard to keep her memory, by coming in first runner-up at Bishop Leurs, and Grand Champions at Mt.Zion. Music Warehouse also had a special invitation extended to them that year. The group hosted the International Showstoppers Competion at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. For four days, the group lounged by the pool, played with Mickey and Minnie, and performed on the American Stage at Epcot. To cap the year off, Edgewood began it's own show choir competition, entitled "Contest of Champions" Sixteen groups from across the midwest competed in early April, and yet another tradition of excellence began at Edgewood High School. The competion show was constantly being adjusted. Outfits changed and music was rearranged, but the biggest "discomfort" was for the women of the group. After Bishop Leurs, the woman began wearing THREE dresses: the black "strip" dress, the hot pink dress, and the blue dress from the 1991 and 1992 shows.
