| Performing "Somewhere, Over the Rainbow" in NYC |
| One of Verda's favorite numbers is "The Car Medley." Choreographed by Marty DeMott, the song is a medley of Billy Ocean's "Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car," Natalie Cole's "Pink Cadailac," and Aretha Franklin's "Freeway of Love." The car has been to Florida, Chicago, Bishop Leurs, New York, and countless other shows. Although it debuted in 1989, the car has been in other Music Warehouse shows, and rests proudly in the EHS Auditorium. Here, CM Merrimon and Rhonda Zapfe contemplate what happens when you get in the back of a car... |
