Not everyone needs to read a music review, but what if you really need to write one and you don't know how to go about it? Well, I was once like that but now I must say I have improved in writing music reviews. Personally I love reading music reviews but I am not able to curate one, lol, enough of all these talks and let’s get to business. I want to share vital tips you must take note of when writing music or album reviews. Practice makes perfect, therefore you need to write quite a number of music reviews before you can understand the art and how it works.

1. Make sure you listen to the song very well, focus on the song at that particular moment and remove all distractions from your mind.

2. Compare the title of the song to its lyrics and discover what message the musician is trying to pass across to his/her listeners.

3. Do some research about the song and compare it with other songs you are quite familiar with.

4. Start writing. Once you have understood everything about the song, it's time to write. Make sure you don't copy any other reviews, let it be unique and plagiarism free.

5. Arrange the review neatly and proofread it. Check the review for any errors you may have made while writing and correct them, make sure it's perfectly arranged. These few tips I have shared with you have been working for me since 2018 till date, in case you find yourself writing a music or album review you can apply them.
