FADE IN EXT ATLANTIC OCEAN DAY Somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean near the the southern New Jersey coast, Scooby Doo and the gang are on their way to Atlantic City in the Mystery Yacht. INT MYSTERY YACHT DAY FRED is steering the yacht, DAPHNE & VELMA are standing behind FRED and SHAGGY & SCOOBY are sitting at the table eating. The table is covered with food. FRED Isn't this great? We finally get a vacation and to top it off, we get to play our slot machine in Atlantic City. DAPHNE Yeah, and it was nice of Donald Trump to invite us and letting us stay at one of his casinos. SHAGGY I'm looking forward to the buffet. What about you Scoob? SCOOBY DOO Mm-Hmm!! Me too!!! VELMA Is that all you guys ever think about, is food? SHAGGY & SCOOBY YUP!!! VELMA Well, try to leave some food for the rest of us, ok? SHAGGY & SCOO OK!! EXT ATLANTIC OCEAN DAY The Mystery Yacht continues its way to Atlantic City until it pulls into the marina near the Trump Marina Casino. INT MYSTERY YACHT DAY Shaggy & Scooby are looking out the window and see the Trump Marina Casino. SHAGGY Hey Scoob, check it out. Boy, I can't wait to get in there and taste the food. SCOOBY Me too!! Dapne & Velma roll their eyes back. FRED Ok guys, it looks like we're finally here. EXT TRUMP MARINA DOCK DAY The Mystery Yacht pulls up to the dock and SCOOBY DOO and the gang get off the Mystery Yacht and is greeted by Jack, the casino host. JACK The famous Mystery Inc.. Welcome to the Trump Marina. My name is Jack Wilson. I have made arrangements for you to stay at the Trump Taj Mahal. I have a limo waiting so if you would follow me, we'll be on our way. SHAGGY See Scooby, I told you we're were gonna ride in style. Nothing but the best for my pal. EXT TRUMP MARINA DAY JACK , SCOOBY and the gang walk over to the limo. They get into the limo and begin driving over to the Taj Mahal. INT LIMO DAY SHAGGY & SCOOBY find the potato chips and soda and begin eating. FRED Hey guys, can't you wait until we get to the casino? You guys just ate a full meal in the yacht. SHAGGY You call that a meal? That was a snack. A 7 course meal wouldn't even fill us up. JACK Fred, don't worry about it. We have more than enough food at the casinos for everyone. VELMA Apparently, you've never seen them eat before. You don't know what kind of appetite they really have. JACK How big can their appetite be? VELMA Put it to you this way, there hasn't been a place yet that could feed them enough to fill their bottomless pit stomachs. JACK Now that's a scary thought. EXT DOWNTOWN ATLANTIC CITY DAY The limo drives along the main road through Atlantic City and pulls up to the front of theTaj Mahal entrance lobby. Jack escorts Scooby and the gang to the check-in counter where they are introduced to the Security Manager, John Higgins. INT TRUMP TAJ MAHAL LOBBY DAY JACK Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and of course Scooby, this is John Higgins. He is the Security Manager here at the Taj. JOHN Nice to meet you all. It's my pleasure. I have someone taking your belongings up to your room. You'll be in Rooms 729 and 730. It's on the 7th floor. These are the keys to the room. I really hate to spoil your vacation but we've been having some problems with some of our guests. It seems that the old legend has come back to haunt us. FRED What legend is that? JOHN The Legend of the Ghost of Alladin. Legend has it that the ghost appears as a jeannie of the lamp and steals money from the guests. VELMA I heard about that ghost legend but I thought that it was just made up. SHAGGY & SCOOBY GHOST?! SHAGGY Legend or no legend, if it involves ghosts, we ain't staying, right Scoob? SCOOBY That's right!! Velma If you don't stay, who's gonna eat the food that they have here? Shaggy and Scooby look at each other thinking whether or not they're gonna stay. SHAGGY OK, you talked us into it. JOHN Well, legend has it that if you walk past an Alladin lamp that they use here at the Taj for decoration, the ghost will appear and scare you enough where you would be willing to give the ghost your money. I personally have not seen this ghost but we have been having alot of complaints about it lately. Do you think that maybe you can help us solve this mystery because we don't know what else to do? FRED I don't see why not. What do you think guys? Are you up to the challenge? VELMA Sure. I always love a good mystery. DAPHNE I'm up for it. I think it would be fun to solve another mystery. SHAGGY Fun?? What's so fun about getting chased by ghosts or chasing ghosts? I'll tell you what, you guys go solve the mystery and Scooby and I will stay here and check out the buffet. What do you say guys? FRED Shaggy, we'll have plenty of time to enjoy the buffet. The sooner we solve the mystery, the sooner we can enjoy our stay and the buffet. Besides, it'll give us a chance to check out the casino. JACK I'll tell you what Shaggy, if you help us solve the mystery, I'll personally make sure there is an unlimited amount of food for all of you, deal? SHAGGY & SCOOBY Deal!!! FRED That sounds great. Come on, guys. Let's split up. Daphne, Velma and I will check out the casino and Shaggy and Scooby can check out the boardwalk and beach. It's 12 o'clock now so we'll all meet up in the rooms at 8 o'clock tonight. That should give us enough time to find some clues. Fred, Daphne and Velma start walking toward the casino floor area and go their own way in different directions and Shaggy and Scooby walk toward the door that leads to the boardwalk. EXT BOARDWALK DAY SHAGGY Hey Scoob, I'd rather be out here where it's safe then to be in there with that ghost. SCOOBY Yeah me too. Shaggy and Scooby start walking and notice all of the rides and games on the Steel Pier across from the Taj. SHAGGY Hey Scoob, check it out man. Like they got rides and games and stuff. Shaggy and Scooby walk up to a couple of crane machines and one of them is filled with stuffed animals of Scooby SCOOBY Hey, that's me!! Shaggy walks over to a different crane machine and plays it and wins a prize. SHAGGY Check it out Scoob, I still got the touch. Shaggy and Scooby walk past the game booths and they see at one of the booths that there are Scooby stuffed animal prizes. SCOOBY Hey, that's me!!! Shaggy and Scooby continue walking until they come up to the go-carts ride. SHAGGY Like, you want to ride the go-carts Scoob? SCOOBY OK Shaggy and Scooby get in line and go on the go-carts and start driving the go-carts on the track. Shaggy is in second and Scooby is in first. SHAGGY Like get out of the way Scoob cause the Shagster's coming through. Shaggy tries to pass Scooby but Scooby keeps Shaggy from passing him. After the final lap, Scooby wins first place. SHAGGY Wasn't that fun Scoob? SCOOBY Uh-Huh!! Shaggy and Scooby start walking back to the boardwalk and Scooby notices a female dog walking on the boardwalk walking towards the haunted house ride and Scooby starts to follow her. SHAGGY Hey Scoob, like, where you going man? Scooby just keeps walking and doesn't answer Shaggy. The female dog walks into the haunted house ride. Shaggy grabs Scooby. SHAGGY Scoob, what's wrong with you? SCOOBY She's a hot dog! SHAGGY(laughing) Kinda makes you hungry, hey Scoob? Scooby looks at Shaggy with a funny look and starts to walk into the haunted house. SHAGGY Scooby, this is a haunted house. SCOOBY So? INT HAUNTED HOUSE DAY Scooby continues to walk and Shaggy is walking behind him with a worried look on his face. As they walk through the haunted house, there are different things that scare them. As they walk through the haunted house, they come upon fun house mirrors. SHAGGY Scoob, check it out man. Shaggy walks closer and farther away from the mirror and his body looks distorted. SCOOBY He he he he he he he Scooby looks in the mirror and also walks closer and farther away from the mirror and his body looks distorted. Shaggy looks in the mirror standing behind Scooby and sees 2 objects in the mirror. SHAGGY Hey Scoob, how did you get 2 bodies, man? Shaggy and Scooby look closer in the mirror and the object in the mirror looks like the jeanie ghost. SHAGGY (worried) Uh-oh Scoob, I think we have company. Shaggy and Scooby turn around and see the jeanie and starts running to the exit of the haunted house that leads to the boardwalk. SHAGGY & SCOOBY RUN!!!!! As Shaggy and Scooby exit the haunted house, they look back and sees a kid holding a stuffed animal jeanie that he won at a game booth. Shaggy and Scooby come to a stop. SHAGGY Like I thought that was the real jeanie. Talk about a close call, hey Scoob? SCOOBY Yeah. SHAGGY Hey Scoob, let's go check out the beach. SCOOBY OK. Shaggy and Scooby walk down the boardwalk until they find an opening that leads to the beach. As they walk along the beach, Scooby sees a crab in the sand. SCOOBY What's that? SHAGGY Like that's a crab man. Scooby bends down to smell the crab and the crab bites Scooby on the nose. SCOOBY OWWWWWWWW!!!!!! The crab is holding on to Scooby's nose and Scooby starts to shake his head to get the crab off his nose and the crab finally lets go. SHAGGY (laughing) Don't worry Scoob, you'll live. Shaggy and Scooby start walking down by the beach and sees something washing up the shore. SHAGGY Look Scoob, money bags from the Trump Casino. I wonder if it's a clue. C'mon Scoob, lets go see if we can find the rest of the gang. Shaggy and Scooby start to walk back to the Taj Mahal. |
