I am a music major with an emphasis on percussion, yes, one of those annoying tapping people
that can't stop moving EVER, and a recording minor at Bowling Green State University in Northwest
Ohio. I enjoy playing music and listening to music of about any type. My favorite types
of music is Rock music. My favorite groups are Metallica and Dream Theater. I also like
Techno music a lot and have recently gotten into it more then I was beforehand. Along with
music, I am a major electronics person and mostly love messing with computers. I have built
my own PC along with some for other friends of mine. I am constantly updating my computer
with software or hardware to make it run those games a bit better. Some people consider
me a gaming addict, but I definately am not, I just love relaxing in the evening or afternoon
with a nice game after a rough day of classes. Along with my homemade pc I have a laptop
computer that I enjoy using either on breaks at home, in my room so that I can sit wherever
I want and do work or play games, and the most recent thing I am doing with my laptop is
recording music that either I play or one of my friends with my tascam mixer and the Shure
SM57 that I own. I would like to buy another SM57 and another mic stand so I can stereo
mic when I am recording me or my friends. Being in a recording class, I have access to our recording room and also
to a bunch of quality microphones.
I am currently in the honorary band service fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi. We are a very tight
group and I enjoy doing things with all of my "brothers." We have a sister group named
Tau Beta Sigma who we have monthly meetings with and we help each other out with
any projects that need to be done for the band program. This includes setting up for band
practices, helping out the band secretary in sending out letters to people, and helping the
band directors/secretary any way we can.
With these groups I have a bunch of frinends but the ones that mean the most
to me are my "big brother" Josh, "big sister" Melinda, my one of my brothers
Boe, and two of my sisters Lestie and Jessica. Of these, Jessica
