LB9

LB9, or my real name Richard Stuart-Turner, have written and produced two brilliant albums. I have just recorded my second album called 'Mist' due to the fact that it is unclear, or misty, to see a definitive genre on the album because there are so many different styles of music on the album. This is the track listing and a bit of information about each song.

1. Golindia-This is an Indian piece, inspired by the recent Bollywood popularity surge. The song revolves around 5 different parts of music all played with a sitar.

2. Minderloopita (2003 remix)-Originally the title of the first album, and my most popular song. It features a repeating melody of these 8 notes; d,f,c,g,a,e,b,c. This new remix, features added percussion and new chords.

3. Poppy's house: This is a live track, which I made in less than quarter of an hour. The song is the longest track on the album at just over 4 minutes. It is a very catchy, piano based tune which is dedicated to my dog Poppy.

4. Mist: In contrast, this is the shortest track on the album at only 30 seconds long. This is a Spanish sounding track, but sounds more like an interlude than an actual track.

5. The Freedom express: This is the first LB9 ballad and is very extreme. The song is actually an instrumental on the album although the original demo featured lyrics which were sung by me. I decided that the song worked better without lyrics. Amongst other things this features strings and a full choir.

6. Dreams: Originally called Golondoger, this peace, now also contained lyrics in the demo, but was transformed into an instrumental prior to release. The album features a catchy melody which is almost as catchy as Minderloopita.

7. Heaven: Back once again, this is a new recording of Bryan Adams Heaven, famously re-worked by DJ Sammy. This new instrumental version, is based on the original DJ Sammy version but does not contain lyrics.
