Alice deejay

Alice Deejay are a collective of many Dutch DJ's and producers, there are always 3 main members though. The lead singer Judy Pronk and dancers Mila and angel although it used to be Yu-tin and Mila. They got together in a Dutch club and got together with some producers and then released some records. Their breakthrough record was better off alone, it hit no.1 in many countries. Perhaps its biggest success was in the UK. Although it entered outside the top 3, it then went up to no.3, the following week and then up to no.2 where it spent 3 consecutive weeks seeing off former number 1's from huge acts such as Westlife, Ronan keating and Ricky Martin. After that everyone assumed they'd be a one-hit wonder. But in November of the same year they released back in my life, which had another chart success story. It went in at no.5 then up a place, then back down to no 5. After that it dropped out the top 10 but very rarely climbed back into the top 10 to see off the millennium . Amazingly, after that it went back up to no.6 where it spent 3 weeks in a row beating some big new, NewYear entries.

Will I ever was their third single and on a packed week of new entries it managed a no.7 where it stayed in the top 10 for three weeks, descending a place each week. The lonely one and celebrate our love also entered inside the top 20. Apart from their singles success, their debut album-who needs guitars anyway, was also a top 10 success, which included all the singles. Although most of the singles were given a polished up radio edit before their official release. The band, who have an average age of about 25 look as if they could go for a long time, and are certainly one of the world's best dance bands.
