This is a simple way to get into my IRC chat room. Simply follow the step by step instructions.
Download and install an IRC client. It can be XChat, or something like Trillian. Whatever it is, it will be simillar to this.
Open XChat. You will see a window with a place to put in nicknames and choose a chat server. Put in whatever nicknames and such you want, and make sure that FreeNode is the selected chat server.
Now you will get a lot of scrolling text; don't worry about it. There should be a text field at the bottom of the window where you will type in: /join #musichris777
Now hit enter, and you are in the room! Easy as 1..2..3!
