| Sweet - Ballroom Blitz There used to be this joint on Sunset Blvd called Preview House. Every Saturday, they would cram a bunch of kids into this auditorium, play new singles while we watched a boring projection of a kalidescope (it was the 70's...we were easily amused) and get our reaction to 'em. And since this was done for songs to be played on Top 40 radio, the songs all stunk on ice. As we were walking out, they would hand us a 45 rpm single in payment for our time and opinion...I got this one, and needless to say, it was WAY better than anything I had heard on the inside! |
