stalker

by mistake, i gave you a glimpse of myself,
then someone or you made post-its of my thoughts
littered the walls with them, photcopied the
expression behind my eyes
and left it for strangers to find.
i woke to find the voice in my head screaming,
like i had instictive knowledge of your
mischievious ways.
i ripped the post-its best i could, hoping all that remained
were intelligible scraps of sentence fragments,
but you were sneakier than that
in stealth, you had studied me.
so even without the evidence of my written words,
you remembered my secrets.
in the dark of sad nights you followed me
stood outside my window looking in
and sung my thoughts back to me
so scratchy and off-key
