| Sing Joyfully Composer: Byrd Genre: Choral Notes: Imitative polyphony Reaction: I llike this piece, it is peaceful. I can definitely tell the imitative polyphony. There was one part where they sang together and then went and did their own parts. The part they sang together was "Blow your trumpets." |

| William Byrd was born in 1543 and he died in 1623. He was known to be a great composer for his generation. |
