FRENCH HORN
The French horn is a somewhat large coiled instrument usually  keyed in F and Bb.

The French horn is part of the brass family and was developed in 1650 in France.

This instrument is also known as "The French Hunting Horn."

This horn might be seen on television or in cartoons with
bloodhounds and hunters on horses, making the recognizable       hunting call.

This instrument produces a low mellow velvet tone and can be  played either standing or sitting.

Fun Fact: A French horn is similar to a snail. The bell of the horn  would be the snails head and the coiled tubes would be it's body.  If  you have trouble remembering what a french horn looks like think of a snail!
