| In addition to history and music, cheerleading has also been a primary component of my life. I cheered for my school for 6 years and on an All-Star squad, the Gem City Jags, for 3 years. Being a Jag was awesome. I was introduced to many wonderful people and it was a very positive experience. The coaches there are incredible! We were also the 2002 Jamfest NATIONAL CHAMPIONS in the Small Co-ed division. That was very special to me because it was my last year as a Jag and I had been with the program since it started in 1999. At The College of Wooster I cheered for both football and basketball. I love being a college cheerleader! We looked awesome and got a huge response from the crowd at games. During my 3rd and 4th years cheering at Wooster, I was voted a captain! I cheered my last game ever in March at an NCAA Basketball Tournament game. I'm quite sad it's over! Check out "The College of Wooster Cheerleaders" link to see more pictures! |
