Performing ideas

  1.  Listen and follow the 'Sol-fah Jazz' whilst it is being played.   

  2. Try singing the 'Sol-fah Jazz' in small groups first with the notation and then from memory.

  3. Sing the upper tune and the lower tune. Then sing both together.

Arranging and composing ideas

  1. Perform the composition with your own vocal sounds.

  2. Copy the notation with your own sounds so you can remember it.

  3. Someone in the group could add chords or play the tune.

  4. You could clap or click an ostinato or someone could sing a drone.

  5. Can you think of other ways to arrange 'Sol-Fah Jazz'?

  6. After each practice performance, you should discuss possible improvements.
