Tips
No extra marks for speed so keep the performance slow
Stick to one finger for each note
Practice will make a difference to the result
Levels and marks
- Each level of difficulty is worth a maximum of 10 marks.
- marks will be lost for hesitation and wrong fingering.
- One finger for each note and the tune played with the right hand is necessary to gain high marks.
- Most pupils in year 9 should achieve level 3-4 with practice during the course.
