De award heet voluit 'de John Kraaijkamp musical award', en wordt in 7 catagorien uitgereikt: beste hoofdrol mannelijk en vrouwelijk, beste bijrol mannelijk en vrouwelijk, aanstormend talent mannelijk en vrouwelijk en de kubus oeuvre award. |
| The musical awards were first given out in the Netherlands at July the 18th 2000 in 'het Circustheater' in Scheveningen. The awards is fully called 'the John Kraaijkamp musical award' and is given out in 7 catagories: best leading role male and female, best minor role male and female, upcoming talent male and female and the kubus oeuvre award. |
