Chapter 4: Pain Killers

............Dillon�s apartment, Haunted Star..........
�Happy Birthday.� Dillon told Molly. No one knew about the birthday except for Dillon and Devine. Molly didn�t like to celebrate birthdays.
�Thanks.� Molly told him, �Look at what De got me.� Molly said while showing him a baby blanket that said �Little Angel Who Came on Earth.�
�Nice,� Dillon complimented it, �So you�re keeping the baby?�
�No.�
�Then why would Devine get you a baby blanket?�
�When I give her up for adoption, I�ll wrap her in this blanket so she could always remember that her mother loves her.� Molly knew the pain of not being loved and she never wanted her daughter to feel that pain.
Dillon kissed Molly on the cheek, it was a little birthday kiss between friends. Of course Georgie got the wrong message from watching from outside the door. Jealousy was running through her blood. Dillon was already dating Devine and he was kissing her best friend. �Molly�s a slut� Georgie thought in her head.
�So, you�re going to see Devine?� Molly asked.
�Yeah, she�s probably getting home from the party so who knows if she�s drunk or not. I need to make sure she doesn�t do anything stupid.� Dillon explained on the way out.
Georgie saw that Dillon was about to leave so she hid. He didn�t see her on his way out. Georgie knew that there was only one way to get back with Dillon and that was to get rig of Molly and Devine. Georgie started creating a plan. First she�ll work on Molly, she will scare her out of town and Devine will follow, it was a fail proof plan.
.............Devine�s room, Lorenzo�s apartment................
Devine has just gotten home from a party. Dillon has also arrived at her house. There was a note on her door from her father, it read: Dear De, don�t wait up for me, I�ll be out of town tonight and most of tomorrow. Love, Dad.
Devine was in her room taking off her shoes. They were nice sparkly, black, high healed sandals what gave her feet incredible pain. Devine was a little drunk and had a difficulty staying on her own two feet.
�Ow, Baby.� She screamed when she started to fall and Dillon caught her.
�How was the party?� He asked his new girlfriend.
�It was....� she seamed to be thinking, �it was.........� she repeated, �Was I at a party?� she asked. That was definitely a sign that Devine was not just a little drunk, she was wasted.
�Come on,� Dillon said when he grabbed her arms and seated her on the bed, � just lay down and get some sleep.�
�I�m not sleepy.� she told him. The smell of alcohol hit his nose and it smelled nasty. Devine stood up and nearly tripped over her own two feet, again.
Dillon saw her trip and he grabbed her by the waist. She threw her arms around his neck and started kissing him. He tasted alcohol coming from her mouth but he soon didn�t care. Devine was a great and a brave girl so who cares that she got a little drunk. The kissing turned more and more passionate with every moment. Devine pulled away and whispered �Take me� into his ear.
�I will.� he whispered into hers�. They started kissing again.
�Take me now� she whispered to him as he shoved her on the bad and jumped on top of her. She raised her arms and he removed her dress. She ripped off his shirt and turned him over. She was now sitting on top of him. Dillon sat up and kissed her along her neck, he worked his way down and started kissing her along her bra line, then he kissed her lips while removing her bra. He turned her over so he could remove his pants and put on a condom. Then he got on top of her with full force and passion.
............Pier 52, The Docks...........
Molly couldn�t sleep and decided to go out for a walk. She was walking along the docks when she spotted a figure in black. The memories of her rape surfaced in her mind but she refused to give in to the emotions, she continued walking with her head held high. The figure moved closer to her, it was wearing a black hood and its face didn�t show. It was holding something in it�s hands but Molly didn�t know what. The figure moved closer. Molly could see what it was carrying, it was a knife. Molly was fear struck and she started slowly walking backwards. The figure lifted the knife and held it pointing to Molly. Molly started walking away faster. Her back hit something as she fell to the ground. Her feet tripped that figure and it fell on top of her, with the knife in the side of Molly�s stomach.
...........Devine�s room, Lorenzo�s apartment..........
(The next morning)
Devine woke up with the feeling that someone was caressing her hair. She turned around to see Dillon, he kissed her when he realized that she was awake.
�What happened?� She asked when she couldn�t recollect the events of the previous night.
�We made love.� Dillon told her modestly but with affection.
�Should I regret it?� she asked.
�No.� He answered still mesmerized by her beauty.
�Do you regret it?� she asked with concern.
�Not in a million years.� he told her. He knew that eventually he will re-spark the sparks between him and Georgie but he secretly wished that it would never happen. He didn�t want this moment to end.
�Ring, Ring� Devine�s cell phone rang. She reached for her night-stand and got the phone.
�Hello?� She asked with cheer. Dillon picked up her hand and kissed it. The smile on her face turned to shock as she pulled her hand away from Dillon and hung up the phone at the same time.
�What�s wrong?� Dillon was concerned.
�Get up, Molly�s in the hospital.� she told him while getting out of bed herself.
�What happened?�
�She�s been stabbed.� she told him looking straight into his eyes.
............General Hospital...............
�Hi, we�re here.� Devine told her friends when she and Dillon got to Molly�s room. Brook and Lucas were scared and came over to hug their friends. Georgie, of course, was nowhere to be seen.
�Is she ok, how�s the baby?� Dillon asked.
�She�s fine and the baby wasn�t injured.� Brook said.
�Thank god.� Devine released her breath.
(15 minutes later)
Dillon, Lynn, and Lucas were sitting in the waiting area while Devine was in Molly�s room.
�I wonder who stabbed her?� Brook Lynn asked.
�I don�t know.� Lucas said while hugging her. She laid her head on his shoulder.
�At leased she�s ok.� Brook said looking up at Lucas. Their eyes met and they softly kissed.
..............Georgie�s room..................
�I can�t believe I did that.� Georgie thought to herself. She was pulling her hair out while trying to reduce the pain of her headache. �I can�t believe I stabbed Molly.�
She started walking around her massy room. She sneaked off to the bathroom and opened the medicine cabinet. The voices in her head were screaming and she had to make them stop. The medicine cabinet was full of all types of drugs. Georgie pulled out some �Tylenol� and she drank about 5 pills. Her head instantly started hurting more. She started crying from pain as she pulled out some sleeping pills. She drank about 3 and walked back to her room. The floor was spinning but she managed to crawl to her bad. She got in bed and the voices in her head died.
..............Lorenzo�s apartment............
�Hello?� Devine said to the phone.
�Is Mr. Lorenzo Alcazar here?� the voice on the other line said.
�No, I can leave him a message.� Devine insisted.
�Ok, please tell him that his safe in the Argentina National Bank was robbed and all of Sage Alcazar�s belongings are gone.�
�Ok, I�ll tell him that.� she said and hung up. �Who is Sage Alcazar?� she thought.
The door to the apartment opened and Lorenzo stepped in.
�Hi� He said
�Hi, what�s up?�
�Any calls for me?� He asked when he saw her standing next to the phone.
�Yeah, one. Some bank called and said that you were robber, something about Sage Alcazar�s belongings.� she said casually.
Lorenzo�s face went white when he heard Sage�s name. He sat down in an arm chair with tears rolling down his face. Devine realized something was wrong where she saw her father cry. She sat down on the couch next to the arm chair and looked at him thinking what might have upset him, the name of Sage Alcazar ran in her head.
�Who is Sage Alcazar?� She asked
�She died, it was all my fault, she died.� Lorenzo started speaking.
�I know she�s related to us but who was she?� Devine asked again.
�She didn�t even know. She was murdered before she got to know.�
�To know what?� Devine asked
�To know that she was really my daughter.� Lorenzo said.
It finally sank in to Devine�s mind that she had a sister who was no longer alive.
