Chapter 2: Insecurities

.........Kelly�s...........
�Do you have any idea who it could have been?� Asked Dillon.
�No, not a clue.� Molly answered.
She was already 1 month pregnant. Her parents kicked her out as soon as they found out. They told her that she was a mistake. Her mother, Gina, had always wanted to abort her but didn�t because she heard it was painful. Molly didn�t care that her parents hated her, she was used to that idea.
After being kicked out, Molly had no place to stay. All of her loyal friends suggested staying with them. Georgie�s place was too small, Lynn lived with Georgie. Lucas�s place was also too small. Devine�s life was too hectic for a pregnant woman to live in her place. Diago himself lived on the only couch in Courtney�s apartment. Of course Dillon�s place was perfect. He lived in a room on the Hunted Star. It was a big room, quiet and pleasant.
�Well, I�ll help you search for him and we�ll get rid of him when I�ll find him.� Diego said.
�That�s really nice of you but I�m not sure you could take him out.� Molly was always the one to think things through. Diego glanced at the door to Kelly�s.
�I have to go back to work.� He said and quickly walked away.
The door opened and Devine walked in chatting on her cell phone. She hung up as soon as she reached the table seating everybody that she hang out with. �Hi all.� she greeted them. She sat down and they all started some light conversations. Sonny Corinthos walked in and suddenly there was tension in the room. Molly closed her eyes and opened them again, she looked like she was in pain.
�What�s wrong, Molly?� Lynn asked with concern.
�Nothing.�
�Something has to be wrong, your pale as snow.� Lynn remarked.
�That guy,� she said pointing to Sonny, �He looks a little like the rapist.�
�Are you sure? I know Sonny and he�s not a rapist.� Lucas was a little confused.
�I�m not saying that he�s the rapist, I�m saying that he LOOKS a little like the rapist.� Molly cleared up her previous statement. �Does he have a brother?� Molly then asked.
�Yeah, It�s D.A. Lancing.� Georgie said as they all looked up with the same thought in their minds; Can Ric Lancing be capable of rape?

(A few days later)
Lynn was singing as Lucas walked in. He waited for her to finish her song before he could interrupt her.
�It�s beautiful.� He said when she was done.
�Thanks, I just recorded it, it will be on my first CD.� Lynn was happy to get her music career on the road. �I need some help.�
�What kind of help?� Asked Lucas.
�You know that song �Here I Am�? I need some more lyrics for it but I�m having difficulties writing it. I don�t even know how to relate to Sage.�
�Get Devine to write it for you, she�s poetic and she is Sage�s cousin.� Lucas suggested.
�The only problem is.....� Lynn paused.
�She doesn�t know about Sage.� They both said in unison.
�And she never will. She can�t.� Lynn added.
�Why don�t you go to your mother and ask for her help, she�ll know what to do.� Lucas suggested. Lynn took his advice and went to Lois�s.
.........Dillon�s apartment on the Hunted Star.........
�How are you feeling?� Dillon asked Molly who was laying in her bed and watching tv.
�I�m fine, why?�
�Pregnant women usually have some pain or something during their pregnancies.�
�Later in their pregnancies.� Molly explained. �Right now I�m fine.� she continued.
�Does it kick?�
�Later it will, but it�s a little too early.� Molly, who was never pregnant, knew everything there was about pregnancies; and she learned it all during that one month.
�Can I touch it? Your belly, that is.....�
�Sure� She said without waiting for him to finish his sentence. He touched her stomach and smiled at her. She smiled at him and they both laughed at each other.
Georgie was coming to see Dillon but when she reached his door, she was hit with a feeling of jealously and betrayal. Dillon was touching Molly�s belly and they were smiling at each other. Georgie walked away without letting anyone know that she was even there. Tears rolled down her eyes, he had to be cheating on her.
.............Lois�s Apartment.............
�Knock, Knock�. Somebody knocked on the door.
�I�m coming, hold on.� Lois yelled from the bathroom. �Maybe it was Marco coming to apologize.� she thought to herself. She put on a final layer of liquid powder on her face and walked out to open the door.
�Brooke, what are you doing here?� She asked her daughter.
�I came to talk to you....� She didn�t finish her sentence when she noticed the blue mark on her mother�s face, �Did Marco hit you?� She asked.
�No, no, of course not.� she answered while trying to think of a good excuse, �I...I fell.� She paused, �And I hurt myself.� She continued with her lie.
�Ma� I know something�s wrong. What happened? What did he do?� She was concerned.
Lois thought for a minute. Should she tell her daughter the truth or should she lie. She knew that eventually Brooke will find out. �He hit me.� She said simply but with pain.
�Why? What happened?� Lynn was really concerned.
�Nothing.� Lois wanted to change the subject. �What is it that you wanted to talk to be about?�
�Ma�, What happened?� She asked again.
�Marco didn�t come home last night. I asked him where he been. He hit me and told me it was none of my business.� Lois finally brock down almost in tears.
�You did throw him out? Right?� Lynn asked.
Lois shook her head.
�Why not?� Lynn was not just concerned but she was also mad.
�I love him.� Lois explained as she brock down completely.
Lynn was angered by her response, �Love is for fools and you know it,� She said, �If you are so stupid that you can�t leave that bastered then you�re a bitch and deserve to be hit.� She knew she hurt her mother�s feelings but she had to knock some sense into her.
............Devine�s room, Lorenzo�s apartment............
Devine was doing her favorite activity before going to bed; reading. But this time it was a little harder for her to read as she kept remembering the past, a time before Port Charles.
[Flashback]----(All flashbacks/memories are in the form of a play.)
-Devine walks into the house of her stalker to confront him.
Devine: We meet again, but this time, your not stalking me.
Stalker: I don�t stalk you. Never did.
Devine: No, you�re just ALWAYS where I�m at. What a surprise!.....I know why your stalking me.
Stalker: Why?
Devine: You want to sleep with me, don�t you?
Stalked: Yes, yes, that�s true.
Devine: Why don�t you go to the kitchen and get me something to drink. Then...Who know�s.....Maybe you�ll get lucky.
-The Stalker leaves.
-Devine starts looking for clues to why is he stalking her.
-Devine spots a mirror that is shaking.
-She looks around that mirror, finds a button and pushes it.
-A panic room door opens, a brunette girl is in there.
Devine: Who are you?
Mystery Girl: Help me, I�ve been kidnaped.
Devine: Why? Why did he kidnap you.
Mystery Girl: The same reason as why he�s stalking you.
Devine: Why is he stalking me?
Mystery Girl: Because he has a vendetta against someone you know, and he wants to use you for information.
Devine: Who is the vendetta against?
Mystery Girl: I don�t know.
-Devine hears the Stalker coming back.
-She hit�s the button and closes the panic room.
Devine: I have to go.
Stalker: Why? I thought that we were going to have sex.
Devine: I have to go. I�ll come back tomorrow. Then we�ll do it.
Stalker: You promise?
Devine: Yes.
-Devine leaves.
[End of Flashback]
.............Kelly�s.................
All of the teens were sitting at Kelly�s except for Diego. A man walks into the dinner. He�s tall, dark, dangerous looking. In a way, he looks a little like Sonny.
�That�s the guy who raped me.� Molly told her friends pointing in the direction of the guy.
�Are you sure?� Lynn asked.
�Positive.�
Lynn got up and walked up to the rapist. She raised her arm and slapped him. �How dare you rape my best friend and hit my mother.� She screamed at the top of her lungs.
�What? I didn�t do anything.� Marco denied it as the whole restaurant stood up in shock.
