Chapter 2

Emily arrived at the rented ballroom. She walked up the stairs and entered the room. She spotted Nicholas immediately. He was dancing with Elizabeth. When he saw her, he stopped dancing and just smiled at her, she smiled back. He walked over to her and took her hand and kissed it.
�You look beautiful.� He stated.
�Thank you, you look good too.�
�Would you like to dance?�
�I would love to.�
Nicholas and Emily shared a million dances. The walked out to the balcony and passionately kissed under the stars.
Ding, Dong. The clock rang midnight.
�Oh, I gotta go.� Emily stated in sadness, she really wanted to stay but she promised Luke that she�ll be home.
She walked down the stairs and saw the same horse carriage. She asked the horseman to drive her back home and he willingly told her that it was his job and he loves it. She and Nicholas shared ane last kiss and he picked her up and put her in the carriage. He kissed her again. The kiss was so passionate that she felt like she was flying. She couldn�t feel anything except his lips on hers.
She happily arrived back home and when she stepped out of the carriage, she noticed that she was missing a shoe.

Next Morning
�I�m really sorry I lost your shoe.� Emily told Elizabeth.
�Don�t worry, I didn�t really like those shoes.� Liz was so forgiving. She was there to pick up Cameron. Alexis was also there to pick up Kristina.
The door bell rang and Alexis went to answer it.
�Ladies and Gentlemen, I�m honored to say that Prince Nicholas has decided to marry the owner of this lovely shoe.� Jason told everyone and stepped into the house. Lucky followed him with a silky blue pillow with that ugly shoe on top, Nicholas was standing outside the door. Emily started laughing, she predicted what will happen next.
Jason picked up that shoe and asked Alexis to try it on. She tried to squeeze her foot into it but the shoe was way too small. Then Jason passed the shoe on to Liz but she pretended like it didn�t fit. That was impossible since Liz and Em wore the same shoe size. Nicholas then stepped into the house and took the shoe. He walked over to Emily who was sitting on the couch. He knelt down on one knee.
�Miss, would you please try on this shoe?� He asked while slipping it on. He strapped the shoe on and looked into Emily�s eyes. Emily looked down and noticed that there was a diamond ring on the shoe strap. Nicholas unstrapped the shoe and removed the ring from it. �Would you do me the honors and be my wife?� Nicholas asked while slipping the ring on her finger.
�Yes� She answered. They both began kissing.
Lucky started looking around the room. The sight of Jason with tears in his eyes surprised him.
�Man, why are you crying?� Lucky asked the usually emotionless mobster.
�My little sister is getting married. I�m just so happy.� He answered and began to sob.
They lived happily ever after.
(As happily as they could living on a soap)
