Chapter 6

Sage was sitting on the dark green grass outside of the Quirtermaine mansion. Everyone she knows was in the house. They have all gathered to talk about the kidnaping�s and to take matters into their own hands. Sage didn�t want to participate in the gathering, it brought back to many bad memories. She was watching Lulu play by a tree about 20 feet away. Georgie stepped outside and Sage thought to herself �Here we go again�. Geogrie sat next to Sage and started talking �I know what your up to.� Georgie stated.
�Oh really, what?� Sage was mad.
�The only reason you�re playing detective is go get closer to Dillon.� Georgie looked straight in Sage�s eye.
�You know what? If you wanna be right you�re right, if you wanna be wrong you�re wrong, I really don�t care.� Sage answered while looking at Lulu. Lulu was walking further away. Lulu can barely be seen now. Georgie started looking around �Is it Halloween?� She asked.
�Yeah, it�s Holloween, in the middle of July.� Sage answered thinking of what does Dillon see in this stupid little girl.
�Then why is that guy wearing a mask?� Georgie pointed in the direction of the person with a mask. The person was approaching Lulu.
�That is the kidnaper.� Sage answered while getting up and starting to run. Georgie started to run too. Georgie was faster since she was wearing gym shoes. The kidnaper picked-up Lulu and started to run. Lulu was kicking which caused the kidnaper to fall down. Georgie ran up and grabbed Lulu and pushed her to the side. The kidnaper got up and started beating up Georgie. Sage reached them in time. She attacked the kidnaper and started scratching him. Georgie turned Lulu away from the fight and told her that everything was going to be ok. Sage continued scratching until she fell to the ground and started crying letting the kidnaper to run away. Georgie helped Sage up and all three girls walked towards the house. When they reached the door Carly exited the house. Georgie told Carly about what happened while Sage went inside and went to be bathroom.
Sage looked at the bathroom mirror at her face. It was full of tears and her makeup was running. She started washing her hands to wash off the blood and dead skin from her fingernails.

Georgie just told Carly about the attack on the kidnaper. Officer Monterro was arriving at the gathering. He was late do to police business as he told Carly at the front door. He accidently dropped a sheet of paper from a folder he was holding and walked inside the house. Carly picked up the sheet and was about to let him know that he lost something but changed her mind when she saw her children�s names. She read the sheet carefully and saw that on the kidnaped victims list it sayed Lulu�s name on it. Carly was shocked since no one knew that Lulu was attacked, especially not the officer.
