Lorenzo Alcazar came to Port Charles after his brother Louise died. (Louise was played by the same actor). He was a businessman from the beginning. He kidnaped Carly and fell in love with her. After she got rescued, he started stalking her. His life became all about Carly, and in order to get her, he had to destroy her husband. He hired a hooker to recreate Sonny�s dead wife Lilly in order to drive Sonny nuts. When Carly was in her coma, he sat next to her the whole time. He was so obsessed with her that Jason kidnaped him and kept him in the same panic room where Ric kept Carly. Carly found him in that panic room and tried to kill him. Jason walked in and stopped her. He then transferred Lorenzo into another place. Lorenzo escaped once he heard that Carly was in the asylum. He rescued her and helped her until the drugs were out of her system. Sonny walked in and sow them making out.  Lorenzo had Carly full time. He helped Carly get her kids back by putting a bomb in Sonnys' limo. When Carly found out, she dumped him. Lorenzo had nothing better to do so he found out that Nicholas is alive and hired him. When the truth about Nicholas came out, Lorenzo moved on to his next project. He set up a bombing and made it look like Sonny and Jason did it. When his niece, Sage, was found dead, Lorenzo had a one night stand with Lois.
