The Final Kiss
Chapter 1: Wedding Night

By Angel

I love you with all of my heart, and I promise you that will never change. The trust was there when we first met, and the love began with our first kiss. You were there for me when I needed you most, even when I pushed you away. And I will love you and be there for you until the final kiss. Nicholas proclaimed his love for Emily at the day of their wedding. It took so long and so much stress for them to walk down the isle, but they finally did it. Everything was perfect now. Nicholas was the most handsome man at the ceremony and Emily was the most beautiful bride in history.

The wedding was now over. The bride and groom were home. There was no honeymoon. Emily had to continue with the medical school so they postponed the honeymoon until summer. That didnt mean that home will be boring, they could do all the things that they would do on their honeymoon at home. The house smelled of roses that the guest have bought them, and of candle wax from the burning candles. No one expected to ever see or feel perfection, but there it was, everything was perfect beyond anyones imagination.

Emily stepped out of the bathroom. She was no longer wearing her wedding dress. The sparkling black dress that she was wearing looked even better on her. Her eyes were sparkling and were full of love. Nicholas was still in his wedding tux. He took Emilys hand and took her towards the window. He opened the old fashioned French window and pointed to a far away star. It was the brightest star in the sky. You see that star? He asked her and she nodded. Imagine the sky without any stars.
That would be horrible. Emily answered.
That used to be my life, before I was with you. But now all the stars in the sky is your love for me and my love for you.
And what about the brightest star? She was curious.
The brightest star is you, the most beautiful you.
And youre the moon She told him.
Why am I the moon?
Because the moon makes me feel loved and safe, and so do you. She stated looking into his eyes, and he was looking into hers. They stated at each other for what seemed like forever. Then he leaned in for a kiss and she did not refuse. The kiss was the most passionate kiss they have ever felt in their lives.

Nicholas pulled away and told her to wait until he came back. He went to closet and got the beautiful necklace he wanted to give her. He returned to the room and gasped. The necklace fell from his hands as he watched his lovely bride laying on the rose colored carpet. He bent down to see if she was breathing and to check for a pulse. She wasnt breathing but she still had a pulse. He then grabbed a phone and dialed 911.

He watched as the ambulance arrived and so did Emilys entire family.
