Chapter 3: Webb'er Dreams

�It�s clean.� Steven Webber stated. Ric though for a minute.
�Are you sure?� Ric finally asked.
�Possitive. I looked over it, and over it, over and over again.� He answered, �I mean, I could look at it again if you want me to.� He stated questioning his own skills.
�No, I bet it was clean.� Ric started thinking again. �Is it possible that the attacker was wearing gloves?�
�No. I didn�t find any fabric or leather or any residue on it. All I found was dried water particles on it indicating that it was washed.� Steven revealed the results of the forensics investigation.
�Did you check the blade?� Ric asked.
�Yes, but I only found Alexis�s fingerprints and you told me that she touched the blade, right?�
�Yes, she did.� Ric was a little confused. �So according to the forensics report, the knife might as well have been held my a ghost.�
�Yes, it looks like it, the only think is, I don�t believe in ghost.�
�Neither do I.� Ric stated while saying good bye and walking out of the office.
------Later-------
Ric was at Kelly�s picking up the coffee that he just ordered when he over heard Elizabeth and Emily talking.
�And then I dropped the knife in Kristina�s room. Strange isn�t it?� Elizabeth said.
�I�d say!� Emily answered.
�What are you gals talking about?� Ric interrupted as he usually did.
�I had a strange dream last night and I was just telling Emily about it.�
�Can you tell ME about it?�
�Sure�
Elizabeth repeated her story of the scary dream where she stalked Alexis and wanted to kill her. In the dream, Alexis saw Elizabeth�s shadow on the wall and turned around to face her, and that�s when Elizabeth ran out of the room to Kristina�s room. Ric was surprised at the summery of the dream.
�Was it possible that you were sleep walking?� Ric asked with concern.
�No. Why is it important anyways?� Elizabeth asked unaware of the event in Ric and Alexis�s bedroom the night before.
�Why is it impossible?� Ric was persistent.
�Because I heard a child cry and I woke up in my bed. Cameron needed a diaper change.� Elizabeth explained, �Why is it so important to you?� She was growing impatient and concerned.
�Alexis saw someone in our bedroom last night, they were holding a knife.� Ric answered.
�So, maybe she was dreaming too, it was a full moon last night and that sure makes people crazy.� Elizabeth stated an obvious explanation.
�That is what I thought...Until Alexis found a knife in Kristina�s room.�
�How is that possible?� Elizabeth and Emily asked at the same time.
�I don�t know.� Ric answered with even more confusion in his voice.
