Emily Bowen Quartermaine was adopted by the Quartermaine family after her mother died of cancer. She grew up in the family and fell in love with Zander Smith, the rebel. She and Zander still tried to make it work, but the passion between her and Nicholas was to strong to let go. She and Zander got divorced and got engaged to Nicholas. Zander then joined the mob and eventually got gunned down by the cops outside Emilys' house. That same day Nicholas got into a car accident and lost his memory. Emily believed that he is dead. She and Lucky went to Los Roes (Mexico) and she saw Nicholas. She pretended that she just met him in order not to confuse him. When the truth came out, Nicholas wanted nothing to do with her, and Lucky was ready to take over his brothers love life. Eventually Nic trusted her and they made love in a boat house. He was on his way to remembering when Helena kidnaped him and addmited him to Shadybrook in order to brain wash him. Emily was deturmined to rescue him, even if it ment posing as a nutjob. Nicholas remembered the truth and they ran away. In October 2004, they got engaged again and this time, planned their wedding. Helena was outraged and she cast a curse on Emily who recovered with Nicholas' help. |
