Durring the PC Hotel Fire (Feb 2004) she told Carly that Sonny is Kristina's father. Carly blackmailed Alexis into representing her in the custody fight for Carly's boys. The custody fight turned out to be useless since Carly and Sonny soon got back together.
Alexis then had to represent Sonny's pregnant girlfriend in court. Sonny bought a confession and Alexis fell for it believing that Sonny will never lie to her. She soon found out the Sonny has no problem lying to her and she decided to revenge him. She started working with DA Lancing to put Sonny behind bars. This pair who really hated each other and now slowly falling in love.
When her daugher, Kristina, got really sick and needed a bone marrow transplant, Carly told Sonny the truth about Kristina's paternity. Out of fear, Alexis and Ric got married.
