12 Days of Christmas
Chapter 1

By Angel

How about Carol of the Bells? Brook Lynn asked
Oh...I dont know Georgie answered, What about Jingle bells?
Yeah, If I was talentless. Lynn stated in aggravation, Come on, think. I need to have a song in twelve days.
I cant believe you agreed to sing
At least I dont have to dress like an elf.

It was 13 days before Christmas, and 12 days before the Christmas thing in the hospital. Elan was going to read a Christmas Carol to all the children while Brook Lynn has agreed to change the program a little by singing a Christmas carol. Out of so many songs, it was hard to pick just one.

The doors to L&B opened and Dillon stepped in with a box in his hands. Georgie assumed that the gift was for her and happily hopped over to Dillon.

It that for me? She asked, What is it?
No, and I dont know. He answered. He walked up to Brook Lynn and handed her the box.
Oh, thank you. Brook took the box, You shouldnt have.
I didnt. He answered, I found this out side the door, it said your name on it.

The box was wrapped in pretty red paper with picture of decorated pine trees. There was a white bow on it and the writing: To Brook Lynn was on it. She unwrapped the box and opened it.

I dont get it. She stated pulling out a small picture of a tree, a plastic pear, and a statuette of a small bird.
Maybe you have a secret admirer. Georgie stated the possibility.
Or maybe its a serial killer trying to kill you and leaving you hints. Dillon joked around.
Yeah, I bet its a killer. Brook Lynn responded to his joke.

Then she pulled out an envelop from the bottom of the box. She pulled out a Christmas card from it and read in her mind.

Now I get it. Brook said.
What? What did it say? Georgie questioned.

Brook read the card out loud: On the first day of Christmas, My first love send to, a partridge in a pear tree.... From; You secret admirer.
Oh, how romantic. Georgie wept.
I wonder who it is. Lynn thought out loud.
Back to what we were talking about... Georgie said, .....How about 12 Days of Christmas?
Perfect. Lynn agreed with a happy grin in her eyes.
