1. What is Dolphin Stone about?
Dolphin Stone is about a girl named Shinata, whom possesses the Dolphin Stone. Apparently, the Dolphin Stone has tremendous power, and many people wish to obtain it. The story goes on as Shinata meets many people. She must decide for herself whom is telling the truth and whom is drowning her in lies.
2.(a) How did the idea of the Dolphin Stone originate?
Actually, I am not certain. However, I believe that one of the first ideas came to me when I was staring at my dolphin stone pendant. I thought it would be neat if one of my characters had a necklace like mine. The woman on the cover whom wears the necklace was my first idea of a "priestess" whom would carry the dolphin stone. However, I thought more of dolphins and decided that she was not fit to be such a priestess. And presto, Shinata was created. Soon the entire story of Dolphin Stone unfolded and I wished to draw a comic for the story.
2.(b) Okay then, who's the woman on the cover with the dolphin necklace?
Sorry. Classified. She appears later in the story, however.
3. What is the reason behind the random coloring? Are these incomplete pages??
These are not incomplete pages; I wanted to express the brightness in the Dolphin Realm. In other words, the world that Shinata lives in is in black and white, and the Dolphin Realm will be in color.
4.(a) Um... I don't get the plot so far. What's going on?
This will be explained when she is in the dolphin realm. But since that's going to take awhile to draw and upload, here's a bit now so you know what's going on. Shinata has the power to go into another realm - the dolphin realm (yes that's what the images with the shark are from). Right now she's going in there to save the wounded dolphin and fight off the shark.
4.(b) If it is the realm of dolphins, then how did the shark get in?
That will be revealed later.
5. Who's this "he" that she speaks of in page 4?
Sorry. This is also classified. But don't worry; he will appear in the end of the manga. :)
6. Did you really, really, REALLY make this?? I know lots of people take ideas from other people!!!
