Some reviews:

"Cyclone is a Thrash Metal band from Belgium, peculiarly aggressive compared with other bands of the time. Often considered as a cult European band, their two only albums ('Brutal Destruction', Roadrunner 1986 and 'Inferior to None', Justice 1990) got outstanding reviews at the time.
Guitars were fairly in-your-face, reflecting the influence of old-school thrash metal, only much more brutal.
...they could be considered as very influential to the emerging Death Metal scene."

"Cyclone present themselves with megasongs... more powerful and harder than ever before. Shouter G. Gevels is one of the absolute best the thrash world has ever had. A thrash masterpiece !"
(H. Infernal)

"One of those long-lost obscure 80's bands, Cyclone delivered a ferocious speed/thrash blend..." (Bnrmetal)

"An excellent thrash combo, their powerful, hard sound is absolutely convincing." (Hard line)

"Cyclone's second and final album showed some definite progression in the band's style. 'Inferior To None' got a wonderfully heavy, classy and dark sound that in a way resembles the production of some Metallica albums and supports the complex and ambitious songwriting very well.
With none of the weaknesses of 'Brutal Destruction' left, Cyclone sound almost like a totally different band here. This album got a highly consistent feel despite its lengthy tracks, and the only minor drawback is that some of the riffs are not quite as distinctive and memorable as one could wish for.
If more tracks were as intriguing as the majestic instrumental 'Crown Of Thorns', this album would immediately appear more impressive - now it just needs a longer period of time to grow on you. That aside, 'Inferior To None' is a true quality release and a real keeper."

"One of the all time best Bay Area records comes from... surprise! It's Belgium with Cyclone, who let the hammer flow with their second album 'Inferior To None'. If this record had been recorded by an American combo and would have been released a few years earlier, so not in the year 1991 when Thrash Metal had been dislodged by Death Metal, Cyclone would gain much praise and glory.
But it was, like it ever was, the mainstream market ignored the album and the band disbanded. The music is mostly in the mid/up-tempo area, it gleams with terrific riffs and many breaks. The album isn't good for easy listening, you have to spend much time with it but then, it won't let you go.
You can listen to seven songs plus intro and one instrumental. As a tip to listen to I would name 'Neurotic', which reminds me of holdover material of the 'Fabulous Disaster' time of Exodus. But the rest of the songs have also something in common with Exodus. Not to forget is 'Master Of Puppets' by Metallica, this record might have had some great influence to this second Cyclone CD.
Imagine, after their third record, Metallica and Exodus would have gone together in a studio to record new material, the result could sound like 'Inferior To None'."
