East coast rock band 3A.M. is a musical breath of fresh air in today's pop oriented industry. Rufusing to be classified, 3A.M. brings the same punch and energy to a ballad that they do to a progressive rock tune.
While utilizing a variety of influences from funk to psychedelic, still the core remains the same - rich, satisfying rhythms and powerful guitar driven musical imagery woven together with soulful, thought-provoking lyrics.
Fronting the band is Stickman, a Denver, CO native and veteran coast to coast performer, both solo and with bands, including Seattle's Freaque Boutique and Sleaze, a forerunner of Alice In Chains. After completion of a solo CD project for Habitat for Humanity on Plus Group Records, Stickman became a founding member of 3A.M.. As songwriter for the band and vocalist/guitarist, his unusual style and presence play a major role in creating the sound that is 3A.M.
Hailing from Wilmington, NC, drummer Anthony "Ant" Cribb is also a founding member. A renowned stage and session player throughout the Southeast, his diverse polyrhythmic approach and dynamic control move the audience as well as the band.
Holding down the low end is transplanted Californian bassist John Swank who brings a new intensity and vision to the band. Also a seasoned touring musician who has opened for Fugazi and NOFX among others, his multidimensional runs and pounding grooves provide 3A.M. with power on a razor's edge.
Finally, the luscious and talented Victory covers backing vocals and guitar. Classically trained and with a wealth of recording industry experience, her original vocal style and enticing stage presence bring the audience to it's feet... or to it's knees.
3A.M. has been touring extensively and performing live in support of their self-titled EP release on Stick & Twisted Records, as well as rehearsing new material for an upcoming full-length CD. From the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC to the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle, WA - from the underground nightclubs in New Jersey to the neon clubs of L.A. - these players have been around. And there's one thing that both ther loyal fans and new listeners can agree on-
