Hmm...this is the first character i actually took time to think her design out. I wanted an ethereal sort of feel.....that's why she's not really wearing clothes. ^_^ In case you're wondering, Seraphim is the term used to describe the highest order of angels.
Prior to completing this piece...I was in a artist's block of sorts with a piece i was previously CGing. So i worked on this piece just to relax me. It's sort of a rush job..i usually take 6-10 hours to complete a CG...and lately, i'm sort of sick of working for so long on a single piece. ^_^; This one took me, in comparison, 4 hours or so. The inking was rushed too...but it was because i wanted the outline to be less obvious. So i tried a new technique with this piece....this technique doesn't place as much emphasis on clear, definative lines and shadow. So i can rush the job! XD~! I'm so evil. ^_^ I really like the effect though! Sort of a watercolor-y one..although i didn't use Painter. ^_^
