The house had a fire in 1995 on the third floor that had ripped the roof offcausing extensive damage. It was doomed for the recking ball until it waspurchased by John and Karen Wood who undertook a 6 year restorationproject. Featured in This Old House Magazine and Missouri Life Magazine.
