for Vietnam Veterans Memorial Collection. Cataloged artifacts, assisted
with collection management, moved and transported artifacts, and wrote
cataloging procedures. Used and took basic classes in Rediscovery
(museum
cataloging software), DBASE III Plus, Windows, and Corel WordPerfect 7.
Worked on the exhibit of Vietnam Veterans Memorial Collection items now
at the National Museum of American History (Smithsonian Institution),
and
past exhibits at the Museum of Our National Heritage in Lexington, MA
(1994)

VA 22401. Sept. 1989 to May 1990 (10 hours/week). Arranged, repaired,
and
identified photographic slides used in class lectures. Identification
included
translating Italian captions, using knowledge gained from Italian class
at same college.
- Baltimore Museum of Industry, 1415 Key Highway, Baltimore, MD
21230. June
to August 1989 (20 hours/week) and 40 hours/week during June 1990. Had
wide range of duties: maintenance, handling of artifacts (including
large
Nineteenth-century machinery), demonstrations of historic equipment,
tours,
and museum store operation.

Designed, procured materials for, and installed several special
exhibits

protect
archival materials. Received 3 semester hours credit.

attendant. Referred museum curators to Combined Federal Campaign for
fundraising,
