VERSION MISMATCH WARNING

The Unreal Museum is another commemorative map. Its hallways are lined with some of the best Unreal maps and models collected over the years.

If you would like to exhibit your work in the museum, email me.

This map is divided into 6 sections (halls).

The Escher wing is devoted to MC Escher, and some of the maps people have made in his honor. (the guy was "whack" in the coolest sense of the word, no wonder people made maps about him).

The Modern wing is for abstract maps. I really like Salley Deth's maps. She's the only one who's total indifference to conventionalism can be taken seriously.

The Hall of Giants speaks for itself. These are all "Over Scaled" maps where the players are only about an inch tall. To the best of my recollection "Bathroom" was one of the first giant maps, and there have been a lot of spin-offs ever since.

Two of the corners are dedicated to contemporary urban industrial type maps. Juergen's Zeitkind and Zahltag (Light Child, and Pay Day), and DiK's Enter the Matrix and Construction Pit. There are so many city maps, I tried to include guys who at least had 2 or more maps in their portfolio.

The Masters are my top picks for subject matter as well as being easy on the eyes, but any maps could go there.

And of course John Falgate gets a hall all to himself, cause he's basically -the- consummate mapper of our time. Some of his maps are for UT4 and some are regular Unreal 1 maps. If you search around you can still find some of his early works. www.mapraider.com/Angelheart

*BTW, There are 3 Unreal - UT maps named Blade Runner which as far as I know were all made independent from each other - (with out knowledge of each other beforehand).

One is an old Unreal 1 map that is basically a few rooms with the "VolumeFog" cranked up all the way. It really has nothing to do with the movie other than its name.

The second is a UT map I made called Dm-Bladerunner about 4 years ago.

The third and by far the best is "Dm-2019" (Bladerunner) for UT-2003 / UT 2004, by John Falgate. Its probably the best map I've ever seen and could easily be a game unto itself.

A couple of pieces are just nick nacks I had laying around from previous maps.

The Ark and Maltese Falcon are from Real City.

The Mammoth bones are from Antarctica.

The Sled and Flying carpet are new (I always wanted one of those).

There is an upstairs loft (secret area) in this map too, the curator was kind enough to let me do some work up there.
