I'll See You in My Dreams

by
Rewa Marie Fyles
Source:
Feeling Poetic (2003) p.8

There you are right in my my face,
Another day we meet and share the same space.

The only communication is a hi or simple smile,
But the tension I feel runs my heart wild.

I wish I could what I really feel,
But it seems inappropriate to make this fantasy real.

So I leave with not a hint of concern,.
Knowing in my mind, you shall return.

But not to this destined place is where you'll be,
We'll be together in my private fantasy.

Thre are no distractions in my deam world,
Only you and me, no other guys or girls.

We're just as happy as a couple can be,
If this were real, what a sight we'd be.

Caring and sharing, exchanging warm expressions of love,
You're what I've been missing; this is something I can only dream of.

So go away and leave, and to me say not one word,
Because my feelings are spared when we unite in our world.

Bye my love, for now it seems,
But soon we'll be together when I see you in my dreams.

What I Like About Him

by
Rewa Marie Fyles
Source: Feeling Poetic (2003), p 31.

I like the sly way that he has kept me hanging on for so long.
My heart with his, I feel I could not go wrong.

I love his sweet and gentle kiss,
If I were to ever leave him, I'm sure this I woul miss.

I like when my man gets in a playful state,
A man without a seanse of humor is something that I hate.

I love my man and his smile made of gold,
The memory of every moment spent, I will forever hold.

The loss of his love is something that I fear.
That's why the love he gives is something so dear.

The love my man makes is so passionate and true,
To him I cling the entire night through.

I love this man with all of my heart,
To find another love, where would I start?

I like when he shows serousness and might,
While his love for me he does not lose sight.

I love this man thought he seems unaware,
If he ever nees someone, for him I will be there.
